About Us

As a group of photographers, we find joy in capturing moments of laughter, joy, and connection. We not only take photos but also share them on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where we connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate our work. Some of us also participate in different national and international salons and get recognition in this world. This sense of community and appreciation is incredibly fulfilling, and we believe it’s essential in today’s world.

Every year, we celebrate World Photography Day on August 19th, and this year, we’re planning to make it a grand celebration. We’re thrilled to announce that Dr. BK Sinha, Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Photography, will be visiting Raiganj on August 16th and 17th. We’re excited to meet him and create a buzz about photography in our city.

Photographers from Malda, Dakshin Dinajpur, Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, and Alipurduar have shown interest in joining us, and we’re forming a group to make this celebration a success. We’ve planned a series of events, including:

  1. A mobile photography competition to encourage creativity and innovation.
  2. A DSLR photography competition where participants will receive critical feedback from experts, helping them improve their skills.
  3. Panel discussions and talks on various photography genres, providing insights and knowledge to enthusiasts.
  4. An outdoor photography session on Sunday.
  5. Workshop on different topics where we invite students from classes 11 and 12, college students, and medical students to participate.

Photography has evolved from being just a hobby or a means of documentation to a viable source of income. We’re excited to share this knowledge with our community and inspire students to pursue photography as a profession. Our goal is to create a platform where passion meets profession, and excellence is achieved.
